He was abandoned by his owner in a terrible state - but has found true love in the form of a grooming brush.
Little Morris has been taken in by Altham Animal Centre, part of RSPCA's Lancashire East Branch, but is now ready to meet his new owners.
The six-year-old dog has been "recovering from his traumas" in foster care - and has made remarkable progress in such a short space of time.
A statement reads: "Morris is a very sweet and affectionate little boy who was found abandoned in a terrible state.
"His coat was completely matted and the matts fully covered his face and eyes.
"When Morris was rescued and shaved we were able to see his gorgeous face and quickly established that he was blind.

"Poor Morris had glaucoma in his right eye resulting in his right eye being surgically removed.
"He suffers with dry eye in his remaining eye which requires him to have drops administered two to three times each day."
While in foster care, the shih tzu has formed a strong attachment to his owner's grooming brush, which he plays with like a toy.
She said: " He hasn't been interested in any of his other toys apart from his dog brush, which he loves to chew, and his tennis ball. He can play a great game of fetch with his ball which is unbelievable really."
Despite everything he has been through, Morris loves spending time with people and will cuddle up with anyone given the opportunity.
"He absolutely loves cuddling up on the sofa with me and loves to be stroked - by anyone actually," she added.
"He has been nibbling at my hand - only in play, but I have just been withdrawing my hand and saying no. This does stop him."
"He does bark if he can smell another dog passing. He is waging his tail whilst barking, but it is his only defence I suppose.
"I have been taking him on 6 short walks every day and he has definitely built up his stamina.
"He can go up the stairs, but not back down and so I have used a stair gate to stop him getting up."
Morris can live with children over aged five - but would need to be the only pet in the home.
