Dozens of firefighters were called in to tackle a massive blaze at Pickles Auctions on Friday in the Perth suburb of Bibra Lake, where dozens of vehicles were destroyed.
Smoke billowed from the blaze at the Sudlow Road premises, in Perth's southern suburbs, where dozens of cars stacked three tiers high were on fire, with hundreds more at risk from the fire.
In a statement, Pickles said "damage was contained to one area of a storage yard affecting 60 salvage vehicles and associated racking".
The company said vehicles in the immediate vicinity of the blaze suffered "residual damage".
Police said more than 100 vehicles were damaged in total, many of them completely destroyed.
There was no damage to warehouse facilities or offices, and no injuries.
"Operations have not been affected and the Bibra Lake branch is running as business as usual," a Pickles spokesperson said.
"We would like to thank the swift response of the Cockburn Central CFRA Fire Station and the Murdoch Fire Station."
Firefighters were called to the scene just after 5pm, and it took them about three hours to get on top of the blaze.
Emergency personnel remained at the scene for several hours.
It is believed the business closed not long before the fire broke out, and police say no-one was injured in the blaze.
A smoke alert was earlier issued for people in the area.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
