RTE radio and TV presenter Blathnaid Treacy has shared the happy news that she is expecting her first child with her husband Charlie Moon.
Bray native Blathnaid took to Instagram on Thursday to share that she and husband Charlie are set to become parents this summer. The couple, who got married in 2019, are expecting a baby girl.
Sharing a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a fashionable blue tie dye sundress and cradling her baby bump, Blathnaid wrote: “We can't wait to meet you. Our little lady arrives this summer. Feeling so lucky and grateful. Photo and baby by @cha_moon_e”.

Blathnaid added the hashtag #20Weeks at the end of the post, indicating that she is 20 weeks along into her pregnancy. Meanwhile, her friends rushed flocked to the comments section to congratulate the soon-to-be parents with podcaster Georgie Crawford describing the news as "amazing".
"Omg!!!! Amazing! Congratulations Blathnaid," she said.
Amy Huberman, Bonnie Ryan and Maia Dunphy were also among those who wished the couple well. Maia Dunphy wrote: "NO WAY!!!’ What brilliant news!"
Treacy and her husband, jazz musician Charlie Moon tied the knot in Wicklow in 2019 after getting engaged in Mexico in 2018, and they got married ten months later at a small Wicklow ceremony in front of family and friends.
