Blankety Blank's Bradley Walsh 'cuts show early' after Liverpool contestant's confession

Bradley Walsh jokingly cut short tonight's episode of Blankety Blank following a confession made by a Liverpool university student.

The game sees a group of celebrities attempt to match missing word guesses with members of the public playing to win.

India, a Liverpool university student, was asked by host Bradley: "Ed Gamble is a top judge this year at my local village fete, I showed him my huge marrow and he said 'I'll stop you there we're not judging vegetables this year, we're judging the biggest blank instead'."

However, as soon as the question was asked, India said: "What's a fete and what's a marrow?" Bradley, shocked by India's confession, said: "That's it for tonight ladies and gentlemen. The news is up next."

However, India wasn't alone, as celebrity guest Chunkz also revealed his confusion over what a marrow is. He told Bradley: "I don't eat vegetables bro." Bradley said: "A marrow is like a massive courgette."

Ed Gamble chipped in and said: "Well he's not going to know that, he doesn't eat vegetables." However, Chunkz clarified his knowledge, saying: "I know what a courgette is I use the emoji... never mind."

Viewers were also in hysterics by India's comments. Effy tweeted: "I think India and Al are gonna finish Bradley off."

Gillian said: "'What’s a fete and what’s a marrow?' Bless her." And FoFine said: "#BradleyWalsh doing #blanketyblank is the best thing to happen to Saturday nights. It's funny."
