Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, who have been married for several years, recently released a new single titled “Purple Irises,” a duet showcasing their musical talents. The song has made a significant impact on the Billboard charts, debuting at No. 7 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart with 4,388 copies sold.

For Shelton, “Purple Irises” marks his thirty-eighth top 10 hit on the Country Digital Song Sales chart, solidifying his position as the solo male artist with the most top 10 smashes on that particular ranking. Among his 38 top 10 hits, seven have reached No. 1, including collaborations with Stefani such as “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere.” The couple now boasts a total of five successful collaborations on the chart.

The success of “Purple Irises” extends beyond the country genre, as the song also debuted at No. 15 on the all-genre Digital Song Sales ranking. Additionally, it entered the Hot Country Songs tally at No. 40, further showcasing its broad appeal and popularity.

Notably, Stefani and Shelton achieved the third-highest debut on the Country Digital Song Sales chart this week, with Beyoncé dominating the top spots with her new singles “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” debuting at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.
