Actress Blake Lively has officially filed a lawsuit against her 'It Ends With Us' co-star Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation. The lawsuit was released shortly after Baldoni filed a $250 million defamation suit against the New York Times, claiming inaccuracies in their reporting.
Lively initially recorded a complaint against Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department, accusing him of sexual harassment while working on the film. She also alleged that Baldoni and a crisis PR team orchestrated a retaliation campaign to ruin her career after she raised concerns.
In her federal filing, Lively claimed that Baldoni, along with Wayfarer Studios and others, were involved in a coordinated effort to silence her and others from speaking out. She detailed instances of inappropriate behavior on set, including discussions of personal sexual experiences and porn addiction.
Baldoni has denied Lively's claims, calling them false and salacious. He filed a libel lawsuit against the New York Times for publishing a story that he and other plaintiffs argue omitted critical context and defamed them.
Representatives for Baldoni have not yet responded to requests for comment. The legal battle between Lively and Baldoni continues as both parties stand by their respective claims.
