In case you didn't know, it's Jennie Kim's world and we're all just living in it. Fresh off closing Jacquemus' 15th-anniversary runway two days ago, the Blackpink member stars in the new Adidas Originals advertising campaign. Kim's appearance marks the prominent athletic company's collaboration with CLOT by Edison Chen on its signature Gazelle sneakers.
Adidas took to Instagram to show off the ads featuring Kim in multiple images with otherworldly backgrounds made with artificial intelligence (AI). "Ever wish you were somewhere else? Escape into the new CLOT Gazelle by @edisonchen," the brand wrote as viewers are taken into a world of limitless imagination and innovation. Designed in a clean white and tan colorway with an espadrille stitching machine, the shoe is made with a molded outsole stitched to the suede and textile upper. It also features a custom molded sock liner for comfortable wear and hand-embroidered glass defines the silhouette's stripes, a genius interpretation of the original 1966 design.
In tandem with the sneakers' neutral palette, the South Korean singer dons various complementary outfits, including a knit jersey-like polo minidress and a dainty puff-sleeve top and sweatpants. Kim also posed in the brand's track jacket that features pastel yellow stripes and a ruffled miniskirt.
