Although Black Friday isn't until Friday, November 29, that hasn’t stopped the monitor deals from appearing earlier. This year, prices have been dropping since the start of November, with some great sales on our favorite gaming displays.
We’ve spotted amazing Black Friday deals on the best monitors from retailers such as Amazon, Samsung, LG, Dell, Newegg, and others. Having had the chance to review many of these screens, we can add links to our reviews or provide testing data for those monitors that we’ve been able to benchmark.

Alienware AW2725DF OLED Gaming Monitor Deal
One of our favorite OLED gaming monitors, the Alienware AW2725DF picked up 5 stars when we had the chance to review and benchmark this fantastic monitor. This resulted in the monitor also receiving one of our coveted Editor’s Choice awards for being a standout example of a great product.
The Alienware AW2725DF has a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution (111PPI), a phenomenally fast 360 Hz refresh rate, and a rich QD-OLED panel that enables It to fill 110.10 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut for amazing contrasting blacks and eye-popping colors.
This is a superb gaming monitor pick for the hardcore gamer who wants esports-levels of performance, matched with the latest OLED tech to help bring your games and media to life on your screen.
When we reviewed the Alienware AW2725DF we were impressed by the speed of the monitor, first with its 360Hz refresh rate and secondly, the 0.03ms response time which delivers perfect motion resolution without needing strobing or overdrive. The picture is stunning, with a larger color gamut than other OLED monitors we’ve reviewed. The AW2725DF doesn't include internal speakers or an analog headphone jack, but these aren’t really deal breakers in the scheme of things.
Currently, you can pick up the Alienware AW2725DF at Dell for $699, a savings of $200 on the usual MSRP price of $899. As for all of these Black Friday deals, we aren’t sure how long they will last or the availability of stock.
Dell G2724D Gaming Monitor Deal
Another cracking deal over at Dell has the 27-inch Dell G2724D on sale for $149, in a limited-time deal that will evaporate as soon as more people become aware of this great offer. Going for a substantial $50 less than the $200 MSRP, the Dell G2724D is a great pick for a budget gaming setup or as a second display.
Although only costing $149 the Dell G2724D comes with a fast IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 (QHD) pixel resolution, a pixel-per-inch density of 109PPI, and a delightfully speedy 165Hz refresh rate over DisplayPort, and 144Hz over HDMI. The panel is flat with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 1ms gray-to-gray response time, and a 99% sRGB color gamut. The screen measures 27 inches and has a thin bezel on three sides - great for placing close to a second monitor for a multi-screen setup.
It’s hard to find a similar monitor with these specs and also have the added bonus of Dell’s great reputation when it comes to monitors, build quality, and support.
Our favorite gaming monitor, Dell S3222DGM, hits all-time low
Dell's S3222DGM is our favorite gaming monitor overall because it provides the best combination of performance, build quality and color quality for the money. This 32-inch display has a 2560 x 1440, curved display with a whopping, 165 Hz refresh rate. And yet, even its regular price of $329, it's a great bargain.
Now, the S3222DGM is down to just $199 at Best Buy, a match for its lowest-ever price. That's $129 off of its regular price and an incredible buy.
As you can see, the S3222DGM delivered an impressive 3,718:1 contrast ratio on our tests. You can think it's VA panel, which delivers much more than the 1000:1 ratio that we see on screens with IPS panels, which are much more common. Higher contrast makes colors pop.
With a 165 Hz panel that works with G-Sync or FreeSync, you'll get smooth, tear-free images in gaming. Yes, you can get higher rates on other monitors, but combine that with the 1800R curve, the popping contrast and the $199 price point and this can't be beaten. Dell S3222DGM Specs
ASRock's Excellent 1440p, 180 Hz IPS Phantom Gaming monitor returns to its all-time low price of just $142
We loved the budget-friendly ASRock PG27QFT2A when we tested it earlier this summer, praising its 27-inch IPS screen for its excellent contrast and HDR, solid build, and vivid color. And we called it an excellent value for $190. But today at Newegg, you can pick one of these Phantom Gaming screens up for just $142.77, the lowest price we've seen to date.
Our monitor expert found the PG27QFT2A's video processing to be excellent, with almost no blur when running games at 180 Hz, with overdrive and the backlight strobe keeping things crisp. Overall, he called the image better than expected for the price, with greater dynamic range than most older UPS screens and HDR content looking great as well. And brightness was also good for this class, at 422 nits.
We tested the monitor's contrast at just under 1,500:1, but after calibration that rose to an even better 1,559.8:1. The only real downside is that using the backlight strobe to banish motion blur lowers the brightness by 30% and the monitor doesn't let you max out the brightness when this feature is enabled.
Still, if you're after a fast gaming display on a tight budget, the PG27QFT2A is one of the best we've tested, and an excellent bargain at $142.77. Just grab this deal soon if you're interested, because Newegg says it will be gone tomorrow.
