Bhilwara: Hardly a few days have passed of the newly formed government of Bharatiya Janata Party in Rajasthan, the brashness of the newly elected MLAs is at its worst height.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, after the case of a Jaipur MLA and Deputy Chief Minister, now Shahpura BJP MLA Lalaram Berwa is seen threatening a female IAS officer in a public meeting. MLA Lalaram Berwa warned her to spoil her career.
BJP MLA from Shahpura assembly constituency Lalaram Berwa was present in a public function and threatening to remove the female Sub-Divisional Magistrate Neha Chhipa from her job, saying, “Who are you arguing with? You will be in difficulty. You are fresh in the job, I will spoil your career. If you do not get the encroachment removed in 3 days, I will stage a protest outside the SDM office.”
Lalaram Berwa was holding a public hearing during the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra program in his assembly constituency Rayala. At that time, he scolded Banera Sub-Divisional Magistrate Neha Chhipa quite harshly. When SDM told him about the rules and regulations, the first time MLA Lalaram Berwa did not listen to her and again threatened her.
The MLA did not stop there. He even reminded Neha Chhipa of the furnace incident in Kotdi and directed to close the illegal coal furnaces running in Banera subdivision. When Berwa asked the SDM regarding the closure of illegal coal furnaces, Neha Chhipa told the MLA that they have issued notices of 91. On her answer, Berwa got furious and said that when the encroachment was done, did you ask him? Neha Chhipa refused.
On this, Lalaram Bairwa said angrily that when no one is asked about encroachment, then why is he asked to remove the encroachment?
The SDM replied that action is taken as per the rules. Her reply again angered the MLA and a hot discussion followed between the two.
Finally, all the officers were again instructed that whether it is Panchayati Raj Department or Police Department or any other department, if there is any complaint of corruption anywhere, they should immediately inform us.
Neha Chhipa told the law but the MLA did not listen. RSS background MLA Lalaram Bairwa has become MLA for the first time by defeating BJP's rebel Assembly Speaker Kailash Meghwal and Congress's Narendra Regar by a huge margin.
