BJP is afraid of Congress’s ideologies, says P Chidambaram

CHENNAI: Former Union minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Monday said the BJP was afraid of the Congress’s ideology.

He was speaking to reporters after filing the nomination for Rajya Sabha polls. On behalf of AIADMK, former law minister C Ve Shanmugam and Mudukulathur union secretary R Dharmar filed nominations.

Asked about the disappointment in the Congress about the choice of candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections, Chidambaram said there were only 10 seats for the Congress to win.
