Bizarre images found on the internet show half-naked cons sunbathing in the exercise yard at Barlinnie Prison in Riddrie.
Shocked Ayrshire woman Lisa Cameron contacted the Daily Record yesterday after she spotted the strange image at Bar-L on Google Earth.
The 42-year-old said: "I had a look at HMP Barlinnie Prison Glasgow and came across what I thought was a body lying on the grounds.
Lisa, from Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, decided to have a look at the prison after watching a 'Toughest Prison' documentary.
She added: "I thought I’d look it up see what our prisons looked like compared to the ones I had seen on TV and there it was."
However, what Lisa was actually looking at was prisoners enjoying the sunshine during their exercise break at Scotland's largest Prison.
We're not sure how much exercise they were doing, but by the looks of it they were definitely relaxing.
Keeping with the Scots tradition, one prisoners is captured lying sprawled out on the yard with his 'tap aff'.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Prison Service said: "I can confirm that there are no dead bodies and this is in fact the prisoners sunbathing in the exercise yard during outdoor exercise periods."
