Bissouma, Bentancur: Tottenham injury news and return dates for north London derby Arsenal clash

Antonio Conte is expected to welcome back a number of players to the Tottenham side ahead of the north London derby. The clash with Arsenal could have a huge impact on who win the Premier League come the end of the season.

The Gunners head into the match five points clear of second-placed Manchester City, with fifth-placed Spurs 11 points from the top spot. While Conte will be focusing on securing a place in the top-four, the Lilywhites will be revelling at the chance to spoil their rival's title race.

With that being said, football.london has taken a look at all the latest Tottenham injury news and possible return dates ahead of the clash with Arsenal. And, some big names could be back for the blockbuster bout...

Yves Bissouma

Yves Bissouma picked up an injury in the pre-match warm-up ahead of the FA Cup third round tie against Portsmouth. He had been named in the side to face the League One outfit but picked up a knock - he was replaced by Oliver Skipp minutes before kick-off.

What Conte has said: "It's an injury that came from the last match. Bissouma has an ankle problem. He tried to push himself and we worked to have Bissouma on the pitch, but he was mature to say the truth and he was not 100%.

"It's very good when the player speaks and tells us they are not 100% and it's better to use a player that is available 100% as Skippy was and he played a good match. We are happy that Bissouma spoke the truth and we could make the right choice."

Return date: January 15 - Arsenal (H)

Dejan Kulusevski

Swedish forward Dejan Kulusevski has been a key player since joining from Juventus last January, meaning any absence from the side is often felt throughout. He has suffered with a muscular injury since the return of the Premier League from the World Cup break, with Conte unable to offer an update on his return.

What Conte has said: "Kulusevski is not a serious injury but you know we need to monitor it day by day and tomorrow and then we take the best decision. I don't know [if he can face Palace]."

Return date: N/A

Richarlison

Another of the forwards currently missing is summer signing Richarlison, who picked up a thigh injury during his time at the World Cup with Brazil. The versatile striker has been a miss for the Lilywhites since the return, with a little while before he will be fully fit once again.

What Conte has said: "About Richarlison we have to see and check the situation and for sure in the future he will have another MRI to understand very well his situation."

Return date: N/A

Rodrigo Bentancur

Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Betancur has been in fantastic form this season when he's played, finding some goal scoring form to his game too. His injury at the World Cup with Uruguay came as a huge blow to Spurs, who will be hopeful of a return soon as he steps up his recovery.

What Conte has said: "About Rodrigo Bentancur, he has started to work. He's still not ready and also for the FA Cup game but we hope to have him back for the next Premier League game."

Return date: January 15 - Arsenal (H)

Lucas Moura

Brazilian attacker Lucas Moura has been out with a tendon issue that continues to plague him throughout the season, with it currently being unknown when he will return.
