Kansas biology teacher Lindsey Fields tragically lost her life in a midair collision on American Airlines Flight 5432 above Washington, DC. Fields, who was the president-elect of the National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT), was on her way to Washington to advocate for excellence in life science education on behalf of the NABT community.
