East Ayrshire residents have been told not to put out any bins today as strike action continues to cause disruption.
In an update released today the local authority has ordered residents not to present recycling trolleys, garden waste bins, commercial waste bins or household waste bins.
Disruption to waste collections is set to last up to and including Wednesday.
A statement from East Ayrshire Council reads: "Your waste collection service will be affected by industrial action from Wednesday, August 24 up to and including Wednesday, August 31.

"Please do not put out your garden waste bin or commercial waste bin for collection. Arrangements will be made to collect your bins as soon as possible and as resources allow.
"If today, Monday, August 29 is your household waste bin collection day, do not put your bin out for collection.
"Your household waste bin will be collected as soon as possible and as resources allow.
"Please share this information with affected neighbours, friends and family.
"The recycling centres at Garlaff, Cumnock and Western Road, Kilmarnock will be open and appointments can be made online."
