People living in Sefton will be pleased to hear there will be little change across the borough during Christmas and New Year.
Sefton Council has confirmed that those living across the borough will face little disruption in terms of their waste with the council implementing a schedule that strays minimally from what people are used to. Residents from Bootle to Southport will see the final green waste collection take place on November 28.
The service will then be suspended until March 6, 2023. Recycling and waste collections will take place on their usual days depending on where you live, with the only change coming on Boxing Day, December 26, with the collection taking place the following day, Tuesday, December 27.

The final bulky items collection will be on December 22 before being resumed on January 3, 2023. Clinical waste will be suspended a day later on December 23 and the service will recommence on January 2, 2023.
The ad-hoc clinical waste collection will also stop and start again on the same dates.
The vast majority of trade recycling will also be relatively unchanged during the festive period, with the only revised day being December 26, with the collection being moved to December 27.
