Billy Ocean visited a Leeds Indian restaurant yesterday as he is set to perform in the city today.
The famous R&B singer is in the city as he is performing at the Let’s Rock Retro Festival here in Temple Newsam. He will be performing alongside acts like Wet Wet Wet and Belinda Carlisle.
Last night, while in the city, the Caribbean Queen singer visited the Grand Indian Lounge in Swillington where he was photographed with the owner. The caption to the picture, on the @GrandIndian twitter account reads: “Thank you Billy Ocean @MrWongo for dining in our restaurant tonight, your a legendary singer, see you soon.”

Billy Ocean, now 72, has been releasing music since the 1970s and has won a Grammy Award for his music. He also received an MBE for his services to music and won a MOBO Lifetime Achievement Award.
Some of his most famous songs include Love Really Hurts Without You, Caribbean Queen and Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car which were released in the late 70s and 80s.His latest album, One World, was released in 2020 after a seven year gap after the release of Here You Are in 2013.
