Billy Horschel isn’t holding back on some of the big names who joined the LIV Golf Tour.
The PGA Tour golfer ranked 15th in the world right now spoke to reporters ahead of the 2022 Scottish Open and went off on those who went over to play for the Saudi-backed tour.
Horschel said he didn’t fault anyone for playing on the tour, but he did say the comments criticizing the PGA Tour were what he was targeting.
“I am one of 200-plus members of the PGA Tour,” he said. “I am the PGA Tour. … So when you’re taking shots at the PGA Tour and Jay Monahan, you’re not just taking shots at them, you’re taking shots at us.
“There’s a lot of guys that are hypocrites that aren’t telling the truth,” he also said, “that are lying about some things that I can’t stand to just sit here and be diplomatic about it”
