Take a sigh of relief, Bulls fans.
On Wednesday, Billy Donovan discussed the findings from All-Star Zach LaVine’s visit with the knee specialist after experiencing discomfort and swelling.
“It went very well,” Donovan said. “He did have some swelling that was taken out of the knee…I think right now, the doctors feel totally fine with him resuming playing.”
LaVine has missed the last three games after experiencing visible discomfort against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Feb. 11.
“I think Zach felt very good about the meeting, felt like it went really well,” Donovan said. “He’s probably gonna be about 48 hours until he can do some activity really but he should be able to resume activity after that.”
It’s unclear if LaVine will be able to participate in All-Star Weekend, as he’s slated to compete in the 3-Point Contest and play in Sunday’s All-Star game.
