Billy Donovan discusses Bulls’ issues on offensive end

The Chicago Bulls have had a pretty weird season. They struggled early on in the year and looked as though they were headed for a top pick in the lottery. Since then, they’ve been a lot better, but they’re still sitting in the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference. They’ll end up being a Play-In team by the end of the year.

One of the biggest issues the Bulls have faced this season is inconsistent offense. The improvements of Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu have helped a bunch in that department, but the Bulls still have the ninth-worst offense in the NBA this season at 113.2.

Bulls head coach Billy Donovan recently discussed their offensive problems. (H/t Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune)

“We just don’t score enough,” Donovan said. “We have droughts. When you’re playing against an elite offensive team, you have to at least maintain some level of pace. When we move the ball really well and generate shots and miss, we have to fight to get over that.”

Chicago needs to iron out their offensive problems, and the solution may have to come when they adjust their roster in the offseason.
