The Cincinnati Bengals issued their final injury report before Sunday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills and it comes with a minor surprise in the form of running back Joe Mixon being questionable.
Here’s the full report:
- RB Joe Mixon (Questionable)
- DL Josh Tupou (Out)
- OL Max Scharping (Questionable)
- LB Akeem Davis-Gaither (Questionable)
Mixon’s designation is a bit of a surprise because head coach Zac Taylor said on Friday that he’s good to go for the game and Thursday had actually been upgraded with the listed chest injury. Regardless, the Bengals were already thin at running back with rookie Chase Brown on IR.
In other news, Akeem Davis-Gaither has apparently progressed a little better than they thought and could give it a go, while the rotational run defense takes a huge hit with Tupou out.
For the Bills, quarterback Josh Allen is good to go.
