The Bills are set to face Lamar Jackson again, and with Sean McDermott’s defensive unit looking to get his timing down, they’ve signed former Ravens quarterback Anthony Brown.
Brown signing to the Buffalo practice squad was among two moves the Bills announced on Wednesday.

Brown most recently spent the offseason with the Las Vegas Raiders before getting last summer and signing with Buffalo during training camp.
The athletic quarterback started his NFL career with the Ravens in 2022. Brown played in two games and made one start while completing 22-of-49 passes for 302 yards. He spent the 2023 season on the Baltimore practice squad.
Brown, 26, was an undrafted free agent who played at Boston College (2016-19) and the University of Oregon (2020-21). In his final season at Oregon, he accounted for 2,989 passing yards and 18 touchdowns, adding 658 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.
