Bills reporter apologizes after hot-mic video captured her seemingly ripping Stefon Diggs

On Thursday, a strange video circulated around Twitter (X).

It showed an empty Buffalo Bills podium, and you could hear the voice of a woman: “Stef and Micah. That’s who they’re trying for. There’s no control over Stefon Diggs. Dude’s gonna do what he wants to do. He’ll look in my face and say ‘Eff you.’ That’s how he treats everybody.”

Who was it? What was that all about? We have those answers.

Maddy Glab, a reporter working for the Bills, owned up to it with a tweet and an apology. She explained that a reporter had jokingly told her to get Diggs to speak with the media.

“I said I don’t have control over him — Stef marches to the beat of his own drum and I love that about him,” she wrote. “He has a playful relationship with our video department, so that’s why I said he probably wouldn’t say yes to me grabbing him for an interview.”

She did go on to say that she was wrong to say that and she apologized.

All in all, this is really no big deal. Glab apologized, I’m hoping Diggs takes it well, and we can all move on.
