Bills LB Von Miller says DeAndre Hopkins wants to play for Bills

The Arizona Cardinals have not yet traded wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, although that is expected to happen at some point between now and the conclusion of the NFL draft next week.

He would like to play somewhere he can win and the Cardinals would like to get his contract off the books.

We know, based on his body language in an interview with Bryant McFadden that he is intrigued with the thought of being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs or Buffalo Bills.

Apparently, Hopkins himself has told people he wants to play for the Bills.

Bills linebacker Von Miller, speaking to reporters this week via video conference, said as much.

“I talk to Hop all the time,” he told reporters. “It’s kind of like the same thing with OBJ (Odell Beckham), you just never know until you know. Hop said he wanted to be Buffalo Bill–And you just never know until you get that DeAndre Hopkins signature on a contract.

“I’m not sure of what circumstances are or what’s going on with that. I would love to see DeAndre Hopkins be here. I would love to have his skill set on our offense.”

Miller works out with Hopkins in the offseason in Texas.

The Bills have picks in the second and third round, which are roughly the range the Cardinals are looking to get in a trade.

Keep an eye on the Bills. Hopkins wants to go there. The Bills could use another receiver for QB Josh Allen.

If a deal happens, it will likely occur during the draft.
