Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen remembers the name Josh Allen.
Two years ago, the inaugural Josh Allen Bowl was a clear, one-sided win for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Allen. The pass rusher had one of the best games of his career, recording a sack, an interception, a fumble recovery, and two tackles for loss in a 9-6 upset win for the Jaguars. It was a day Buffalo’s Allen hasn’t forgotten.

More recently, the Jaguars’ Allen recorded his second three-sack game of the season Sunday, which included a game-ending strip sack late in the fourth quarter. Through the first four weeks of 2023, he’s tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ T.J. Watt and Los Angeles Chargers’ Khalil Mack for the league lead in sacks with six.
Buffalo’s Allen isn’t doing too poorly either. The two-time Pro Bowl quarterback has already won AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors twice and has a league-leading 74.8 completion percentage with nine touchdowns and four interceptions.
