Former NFL cornerback Pacman Jones, a friend of Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, named five teams as being in the mix for a trade for the start receiver.
The Buffalo Bills are one of those teams.
That matches up with reporter Aaron Wilson.
Wilson says, per sources, the Bills headline the trade market for Hopkins.
The Bills are one of Hopkins’ preferred destinations because of the potential of winning.
He would have a star quarterback throwing him the ball in Josh Allen and a star receiver opposite him in Stefon Diggs. Pairing Diggs and Hopkins would make the Bills’ passing game one of the most potent in the league.
In Wilson’s report, he notes that financial expectations might impact a trade.
Hopkins has no guarantees remaining in his contract but is due more than $19 million in 2023 and more than $14 million in 2024.
