Bills Crush Broncos: Set To Face Ravens In Divisional Round

The Buffalo Bills hosted the Denver Broncos in the wild-card round. Denver exceeded all expectations this season, winning 10 games and making the playoffs. Bo Nix had a solid rookie campaign. However, the Broncos were no match for Josh Allen and the Bills.

Buffalo defeated Denver 31-7. The Broncos actually scored a TD early in the first quarter as Bo Nix hit Troy Franklin for a 43-yard TD to go up 7-0. Unfortunately for the Broncos, it all went downhill after that. Buffalo scored 31 unanswered points and dominated the game. Josh Allen went 20/26 for 272 passing yards, two passing TDs, and 46 rushing yards. James Cook had 120 rushing yards and a rushing TD. Curtis Samuel had three catches, 68 receiving yards, and a receiving TD. Khalil Shakir had six catches and 61 receiving yards.

Buffalo’s defense did not give up another point after an early TD by the Broncos. They sacked Bo Nix twice and held the Broncos to 79 total rushing yards and Nix only had 144 passing yards.

With the win, the Buffalo Bills are set to host the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round.

Bills Set To Host Ravens In Divisional Round

In a massive showdown between two MVP candidates, the Buffalo Bills will host the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round.

This is expected to be the best game of the Divisional round between two superb teams and quarterbacks.

The Ravens and Bills squared off back in week 4 of the regular season and the Ravens stomped Buffalo. Baltimore defeated Buffalo 35-10. The game was in Baltimore. Derrick Henry ran all over Buffalo in the contest, recording 199 rushing yards and a rushing TD. Henry also added three receptions, 10 receiving yards, and a receiving TD. Lamar Jackson recorded 156 passing yards, two passing TDs, 54 rushing yards, and a rushing TD. Josh Allen struggled in the contest, recording 180 passing yards and zero passing TDs. It was an awful performance from Buffalo.

For Buffalo, the main goal is to limit Derrick Henry. After he crushed them in week 4, Buffalo can not let that happen again or else they will be eliminated. Baltimore has an excellent rushing attack with Henry and Jackson, so this will be a major challenge for Buffalo as they tend to struggle to stop the run.

Josh Allen may need to put his cape on and be Superman in this contest, especially if Buffalo’s defense once again struggles against Henry and Jackson.

Allen and Jackson are the two MVP favorites and the Ravens vs Bills contest is a highly anticipated one. Get your popcorn ready for this showdown.
