The weather in Western Park is so bad the Buffalo Bills on Sunday had to rescind their request for people to come help shovel out Highmark Stadium from under the snow blanket.
The team had offered people $20 an hour to help clear the snow. However, a travel ban is in effect and Bills told people who wanted to help to stay home.
We are asking snow shovelers to abide by the travel bans that are currently in place.

Considering more than 45 people died in last year’s blizzard that blinded drivers to a halt, some died in their stuck cars, there was no way NY was creating a path for thousands of people to head to a football game & back in whiteout lake effect conditions like this⤵️ pic.twitter.com/wo4zb4m9J6

The Bills are still scheduled to play host to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.
#WNY: A look at downtown #Buffalo this morning as lake effect snow and strong winds continue. Do not travel unless absolutely necessary. Blizzard conditions are expected through the day.
