Billie Piper wows in daring Vivienne Westwood gown and stockings at Fashion Awards

Billie Piper ensured that her showstopping Fashion Awards ensemble turned heads at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday.

The singer-turned-actress, 39, looked incredible as she confidently stormed the red carpet at the prestigious annual awards as she stunned in a unique Vivienne Westwood gown.

The blonde bombshell oozed glamour in the designer frock which featured a daring bandeau neckline, a racy thigh-high split, and exaggerated, billowing sleeves.

Billie didn't stop there though, as the bold star teamed the eye-catching frock with some white stockings and a some sky-high silver platform boots.

Around her neck, Billie wore an array of layered pearl necklaces which did wonders to tie the whole ensemble together.

The 39-year-old upped the ante in the hair and makeup department as she went all out with her quirky style.

Billie styled her glossy blonde locks in a chic bob and topped off the bold look with a slick of pink lipstick and plenty of eyeliner.

It's safe to say the The I Hate Suzie star made an entrance at the Fashion Awards - which was first established in 1989 in an attempt to spotlight artists and industry experts for their impressive contributions to fashion.

Her showstopping appearance at the prestigious awards comes after the blonde bombshell revealed she needed therapy to recover from the strange situations she faced as a teenage pop idol.

The singer shot to fame aged 16 when debut single Because We Want To topped the charts.

In The Big Issue’s Letter To My Younger Self, Billie wrote: “I was very often in strange, very adult situations that I wouldn’t subject my own kids to at [the age of] 16.

“I was going through everything a teenager goes through, but very publicly.

“Therapy has been crucial to my getting better. If you can get your kids any sort of mental health support, get it.”

She is now mother to Winston, 12, Eugene, nine, and Tallulah, two.

Billie said she worked relentlessly to become a pop star and actress, which led to mental health problems and an eating disorder.
