Billie Faiers' touching tribute to late nan Wendy as she returns to Dancing On Ice

Billie Faiers has shared a touching tribute to her late grandmother Wendy.

The Mummy Diaries star, 31, was left heartbroken after her grandmother Wendy passed away last week aged 77 after being diagnosed with pneumonia.

And Billie - who is taking part in this year's Dancing On Ice - was forced to miss out on last weekend's performance as she grieved the devastating news.

The mum-of-two took to Instagram to pen some heartfelt words for her beloved nan.

Alongside Billie's words from the heart, she shared a sweet clip of Wendy singing her heart out just two days before Billie's Maldives wedding to Greg Shepherd in 2019.

Wendy sang her "favourite song" which was Crazy by Patsy Cline - making the video all the more special.

"My beautiful nanny Wendy," Billie penned.

"I struggle to understand why you have been taken from us so soon.

"All I can hold onto in my heart are the many amazing memories with you nanny and this one has to be one of my favourites that I will cherish forever."

"Here you are in the Maldives just 2 days before my wedding, singing your favourite song, only you could capture a crowd like this my precious nanny Wendy," Billie wrote.

Billie went on: "I am so grateful I had you in my life for 31 years, you have been the most encouraging, loving, funniest, one of a kind, special nanny that we could ever wish for...

"Your ‘Miss worlds’ you would always call Samantha and I, I know how proud of us you are, you told us every day."

"I miss you terribly and I’m heartbroken. I will love you forever and ever," she added.

Former TOWIE stars rushed to the comments section to pay their respects to Billie's nan.

Gemma Collins wrote: "She was one in a million I’m so shocked and upset for you all I will never forget our lobster lunch at Nikki beach I will never forget how glam nanny wendy was she was beautiful also and full of fun."
