Billie Faiers has revealed the mixed feelings she had when she returned to the Dancing On Ice studios over the weekend.
Chatting with her sister Sam Faiers, the former TOWIE star recalled the "not PTSD exactly [but] weird feeling" she experienced as she arrived for the show's grand final on Sunday night.
The reality TV star, 32, was ordered by medics to pull out of the ITV series for her own safety last year, after suffering a head injury during a training session on the rink.
Billie was rehearsing with her pro partner Mark Hanretty, 35, in February 2021 at the studios at Bovingdon Airfield, Herts, when she slipped.
The mum-of-two was taken to hospital where she had a MRI scan, and eventually pulled out of the series after just one televised dance.
In the latest episode of her podcast, The Sam & Billie Show, the unlucky skater spoke about the different feelings she experienced returning to the ITV studios over the weekend.
Billie was one of the famous faces in the audience on Sunday night, as Regan Gascoigne and Karina Manta were announced as the 2022 Dancing On Ice winners.
After revealing daughter Nelly had fallen ill on Mother's Day, Billie explained how her mum stepped in to watch her eldest child so she and husband Greg Shepherd could still attend the highly-antipcated final.
"Arthur [her son] was really looking forward to going, we were going to support Mark [Hanretty] as it was the final, so mum came to the rescue and me Greg and Arthur still went," Billie told her sister during a chat on Monday.
"We went there and supported Mark, it was really good."
Pregnant Sam then asked her big sister: "What did it feel like [to return]? Did it all start coming back to you? Was it a bit nostalgic?"
"It was," Billie began in her reply to her sibling.
"When we drove into the gates - it's on like a big airfield where they record it - I got like a 'oooh' - not PTSD exactly, but you know, it was a weird feeling,"
"Because obviously the last time I was there was when I had my accident and was told I couldn't continue in the competition, so it was a little but strange but it was so nice to go back and see Mark and support him."
She continued: "[I] finally met Mark's lovely wife Kathy, because we never actually met as last year as there was no live audience so when you performed - it was silent.
"It was brilliant, it was such a good show."
Billie went on to praise her skating partner for coming third and acknowledging the high standard of skaters during this year's competition - revealing her husband Greg joked it was a good job she didn't compete on the most recent series.
Earlier this month on the podcast, pregnant Sam spoke about her third pregnancy and why she believes she is carrying a boy.
The reality TV star, who announced with her long-term boyfriend Paul Knightley they were expecting in November, is keeping her baby's gender a surprise but thinks she will have another son.
Chatting to her sibling, Sam revealed: "For the first four or five months I didn't actually know what I was going to have at all. I didn't really have any hint or clues.
"Recently, when I look at my bump, I don't know there's a couple of little things that make me think it's a boy and I've had a couple of really vivid dreams. Other than that, it's like you said it's 50/ 50."
