Billie Faiers details huge home transformation that puts baby plans on hold

Billie Faiers has revealed she's been forced to plans to expand her family on hold in favour of a huge home improvement project.

The reality star recently splashed out on the house of her dreams with husband Greg O Shea and their children Nelly, five, and Arthur, two, - but they aren't able to move in yet.

Billie, who recently turned 30, said the family are having to stay put at their old house while their new place undergoes huge renovations which are likely to take up to 18 months.

The Mummy Diaries star told OK! Online that she and Greg have had to take their house off the market and put plans for more children on hold.

The busy mum said: "My house is going to be a huge project. It’s going to be a complete refurb, extensions and everything you can imagine. We have bought something that is quite old and on a nice sized plot of land and we’re going to put a massive extension on it, but it’s probably not going to be ready for about a year to a year and a half."

Billie added that she and Greg are in no hurry to move as they've made so many memories at their family mansion.

"If someone said to me you have to move out of your house tomorrow I’d be really sad, I’m not done with our house yet there are so many memories there and I do love it there.

"Although it’s time to move on it’s been such a lovely family home."

Billie and Greg have been residing at their current plush Essex abode for several years, and its provided the setting for many drama-filled episodes of their reality series The Mummy Diaries, where they chart their highs and lows as parents.

House proud mum Billie is known for gift at interior design with fans often asking the star for tips on sprucing up their own rooms.

Billie's house is full of rich textures and cosy comforts with a nude-colour scheme throughout.

Bu the new places looks set to even be grander - with Billie and Greg needing more bedrooms and space if their family does get any bigger.

The couple, who tied the knot last year, have made no secret about their plans to have more children.

Billie previously said: "I would like more but probably not just yet. Nelly and Arthur are enough of a handful at the moment. Ideally, I would like a maximum of four."
