Billie Faiers cries as she suffers problems while renovating £1.4m home

Billie Faiers broke down in tears on Wednesday night's episode of The Family Diaries.

The 32-year-old cried on the ITVBe show after suffering problems with her ongoing home renovations.

Tonight's instalment saw her husband Greg take landscaping in the garden into his own hands - but Billie was less than impressed.

She shook her head at her husband and asked: "Why can't we just have a brick wall done?"

Greg was taken aback by his wife, asking her: "But why have you said that now?"

The reality star was said to be at war with her neighbours - and she hasn't even moved into her new mansion yet.

The former TOWIE star snapped up their four-bedroom property in Brentwood, Essex in January 2020, and has been renovating it ever since.

The noisy building work has apparently meant the reality TV star is no longer on speaking terms with her neighbours, who have also tried to block planning permission applications from the celebrity couple.

In the latest instalment of the saga, Billie and Greg recently splashed out a whopping £20,000 on trees to keep prying eyes out.

According to The Sun, The Mummy Diaries star and her partner have purchased Laurel trees, at £240 a pop, which can grow between 15 and 35 feet tall.

The new garden feature is perfect for extra privacy - particularly from neighbours you may not want peering into your garden and grounds.

Billie and Greg are said to have been embroiled in a bitter feud with nearby residents, thanks to their objections to the famous couple's extension plans.

After one neighbour told the council that their ambitious vision would "erode local character and spatial qualities", the pair were forced to modify their original plans.

"We don’t go there much, to be honest, so we’ve not seen anyone. But it’s just not a great start, is it?" Billie admitted when discussing her new house and neighbour after the knock-back.

She continued: "The house is so old, whoever was going to buy it was going to have to renovate.

"There’s only one neighbour to the side of us and he had a lot of reasons as to why he didn’t want us to go ahead, but it was getting a bit silly in the end."

Despite getting off to a bad start, Billie is still looking forward to moving her family into their new forever home.
