Billie Faiers 'confronted Ferne McCann over fat-shaming voice note about sister Sam'

Billie Faiers reportedly confronted Ferne McCann after a string of 'vile' voice notes, said to be from the former TOWIE star, were leaked online.

Ferne, 32, hit the headlines this week after she was accused of calling Billie's sister Sam a 'fat c***' and a 'narcissistic b***h' sent to a friend on WhatsApp, just weeks after Sam, 31, had given birth to her third child, Edward.

The first message was shared on Instagram earlier this week and an unknown Instagram later shared a second one out of a reported 39.

Although neither Ferne nor Sam has spoken out publicly about the accusations, it has been reported Billie rang up Ferne to try to get to the bottom of the scandal.

However, Billie's reps have denied the claims and called it 'categorically not true', adding: "Billie has not spoken to Ferne on the phone and so this is a completely fabricated narrative."

An insider revealed to The Sun : “Ferne and Billie had a phone call, Billie spoke to Ferne about the voicenotes which she denies and Ferne has accused Sam of getting the wrong end of the stick and twisting things.

"The phone call didn’t end well. The call happened before Sam blocked Ferne on all socials."

Mirror have contacted Ferne's representatives for comment.

Following the release of the first voice note which fat-shamed Sam, Billie and Sam's mother took to social media to defend her daughter.

Suzie Wells, 53, said the nasty message was a "complete shock" to the family, as Ferne had been a "very close friend to us all".

She wrote: "So after a few days of hurt and upset I can no longer sit back and say nothing.

"This vile voice note has been circulating social media, and now Press articles calling it a 'Fued' [sic] which it is not. This has come as a complete shock to myself and my family.

"Ferne has always been a very close family friend to all of us for over the past 20 years. It appears this voice note was sent just weeks after Samantha gave birth back in May.

"Since this voice note has surfaced more have been sent - very upsetting nasty things. We are as shocked as you are! Nobody should ever speak about their friends like this ever!

"My girls are my absolute everything and I'll do anything to protect them. I don't have anything to say on the matter."
