Billie Eilish's ex Matthew Tyler Vorce slams cheating rumours as he confirms break-up

Billie Eilish's now ex-boyfriend Matthew Tyler Vorce has confirmed he has split from the singer as he broke his silence regarding their relationship on Instagram.

The pair were first linked back in April last year, but now the actor, 30, has told fans their relationship is over for good.

Matthew took the opportunity to slam rumours he had cheated on the singer, 20, with the pair seemingly parting ways on good terms.

Confirming the split via his Instagram Story, he wrote: "Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. Simple as that."

Referring to the allegations of his infidelity, he fumed: "Creating rumours and LYING on the internet is dangerous."

Matthew also clapped back at Billie's fans for trolling him following news of their split, posting: "The fact that thousands of people take time out of their day to write the most heinous things on someone they will never know is the most cowardly thing you can do.

"Live your own life."

Rumours swirled the pair were a couple after they enjoyed a string of romantic dates last spring.

Billie’s fans speculated that Matthew was the ‘secret boyfriend’ she mentioned in her 2021 Apple TV+ documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry.

The pair kept a low-profile with their relationship and rarely attended public events together and didn't post about each other on social media.

It’s not known how the pair initially met, but both stars are from and based in Los Angeles.

It comes as the Grammy winner recently opened up about living with Tourette’s Syndrome, which she said was ‘very exhausting’.

Billie was diagnosed with the condition - which affects the nervous system, causing tics - when she was 11.

Speaking to David Letterman for his My Next Guest Needs No Introduction series on Netflix, she shared: "If you film me for long enough, you’re going to see lots of tics. I don’t care. It’s really weird, I haven’t talked about it at all.

"“For me, they’re very exhausting. It’s not like I like it, but I feel like it’s part of me. I have made friends with it. And so now, I’m pretty confident in it.”

The star also revealed that “so many people” in the music industry have Tourettes, but she wasn’t going to “out them”.
