Musician Billie Eilish has lost 100k followers after posting a picture of intimate drawings on Instagram.

The photographs were shared as part of the “post a picture” trend which is sweeping the social media site, with fans asking Eilish to post a “drawing you’re really proud of.”

Responding to the request, Eilish, 19, shared a page from her personal sketchbook which featured a drawing of breasts as well as a naked female body and the comment: “These probably lol I love boobs.”

Within hours of the post, fans began to notice that her millions of followers were dipping dramatically.

One fan shared a screenshot of Eilish’s account before and after the drawings were posted, which showed that her followers had dropped from 73 million to 72.9 million – a loss of 100k.

Eilish reposted the screenshot, seemingly brushing off the backlash with the caption: “LMFAOO Y’all babies SMH.”

The singer – who recorded the latest James Bond theme song ‘No Time to Die’ – has never been shy to stand up to fans.

Just before before Christmas Eilish responded to criticism over her trademark green hair roots.

After fans mocked the American singer for keeping her green hair for too long, Eilish posted on Instagram: "Stop making fun of me…I’m f**king making you an album. I  will not put it out if you keep making fun of my hair. Shut up!"

Earlier this year,  Eilish also spoke out after she was targeted by body shaming trolls when she was pictured wearing a tank top in the summer.

Recalling the photo, Eilish told Vanity Fair: “People were like, ‘Damn, Billie got fat!’ And I’m like, ‘Nope, this is how I look, you’ve just never seen it before!’

But her popularity still continues to grow, with her first documentary, Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, set to be released on Apple TV+ in February.

It recounts the rise of the popular musician, who shot to fame with her first studio album Where Do We Go When We Fall Asleep in March 2019.

Since then she’s gone on to win numerous awards, including five Grammys, two American Music Awards and two Guinness World records.
