Billie Eilish displays figure for first time as she strips off in powerful short film

Defiant Billie Eilish has displayed her body for the first time in a bid to spread awareness against body shaming.

The five-time Grammy award winning singer, 18, is notorious for donning baggy and outrageous clothes in a bid to hide her body and her feminine silhouette.

The reason she chooses to dress this way is partially due to the fact she doesn't want to be sexualized in any way.

As well as this, Billie has previously admitted that she suffers with issues with her body image and the way that she looks.

But all this changed when she displayed her body for the very first time as she stripped off in a powerful new film called 'Not My Responsibility'.

The poignant film was originally shown during Billie’s When We All Fall Asleep world tour, with clips of it circulating on social media.

The talented singer has now released the film in full on her YouTube channel in an attempt to put a halt to body shaming and double standards.

The thought-provoking piece sees the Bad Guy hit-maker remove her baggy sweatshirt, followed by her vest, until she is standing in her bra.

This is the very first time that the body conscious teen has decided to show her skin off to the world, and her decision has been met with much admiration and praise from adoring fans.

During the course of the hypnotising monologue, Billie questions why she is constantly being criticised for not showing off enough skin.

As well as this, she hits back at the fact that if she did choose to strip off, she would be slut-shamed.

"Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it. Some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me. But I feel you watching. Always" she narrates (Billie Eilish/Youtube)

The singer narrates: "‘Do you know me? Really know me? You have opinions about my opinions, about my music, about my clothes, about my body.

"Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it. Some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me. But I feel you watching. Always.

"Nothing I do goes unseen, so while I feel your stares, your disapproval, or your sigh of relief, I lived by them, I’d never be able to move.

"Would you like me to be smaller, weaker, softer, taller? Would you like me to be quiet? Do my shoulders provoke you? Does my chest?

"Am I my stomach, my hips, the body I was born with – is it not what you wanted? If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed layers, I’m a slut.

"Though you’ve never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it. Why? You make assumptions about people based on their size. We decide who they are, we decide what they’re worth.

"If I wear more, if I wear less, who decides what that makes me, what that means? Is my value based only on your perception, or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?"

The striking words 'Not my responsibility' flashes up on the screen at the film’s conclusion.
