Billie and Sam Faiers have admitted they would trick their partners into having more babies if they wanted one and their other half didn’t.
Speaking on The Sam & Billie Show podcast, the sisters said they would “just do it anyway” as women have less options to have children than men.
The former The Only Way Is Essex stars were asked by a listener what the ideal age for having children was, as she is 26 and her partner wants to wait another five years.
Sam, who had her first baby at 24, said: “That’s a tricky one because we had ours quite young. I fell pregnant with little Paul almost six months after meeting Big Paul. How quick is that?”
While Billie fell pregnant at 22 and had daughter Nellie when she was 23. At the time she said she felt ready to be a mum, but looking back said it “feels really young”.

Turning back to the listeners’ question, Billie, 32, said: “I think this is the kind of thing that can put a lot of strain on relationships, because if one of you is ready and the other isn’t, then who is in the right to take over?
Sam chips in: “But as a woman you are limited with your time, with eggs, fertility. Men aren’t really. Didn’t Bernie Ecclestone have a baby in his nineties recently? Men can just keep going. It’s different for women.
“Being a woman, you’re carrying the baby. Guys you haven’t got to carry the baby for nine months. You can carry on doing your thing. You haven’t got to push.”
Mum-of-two Billie – who hasn’t ruled out having a third baby – said: “I think if I was in that situation and I really wanted to have a baby and my partner wasn’t so sure, I think I’d probably just do it anyway.”
“What a trap?” a shocked Sam, 31, asks.
“Yes, a baby trap,” says Billie, before adding: “No I’m being totally honest, because at the end of the day if you’re ready, do it. There’s never a right time. It’s always a shock to the system.”
Sam, who is currently pregnant with her third child, says: “They’ll get over it and then they’ll love that baby more than anything in the world. I don’t know if that’s the right advice but we’re putting it out there.”
The sisters also spoke about how much they missed each other – now that Sam lives in Surrey and Billie is in her native Essex.
Moving away and her kids being of school age led to Sam’s decision to quit their reality show, The Mummy Diaries, back in the summer of 2021.
Billie had initially feared the show would be cancelled, but it’s back on ITVBe as The Family Diaries, starring her and husband Greg and their two kids, Nellie, seven, and four-year-old Arthur.
Speaking on their joint podcast, the sisters revealed just how much of their lives they had to give up to film the reality show – another thing Sam doesn’t miss.
Billie said: “People don’t realise that filming The Mummy Diaries, which is now The Family Diaries, is four days of the week nine months of the year, with a couple of breaks inbetween.
“It’s full on. You can’t go and have another full time job. Filming is what we’re doing, but that is a job for us.”
While Sam shared that her and partner Paul have just set up a new property business together.
