Billi Mucklow and Andy Carroll's wedding guests couldn't help but laugh when the registrar made an awkward comment.
The couple got hitched yesterday in the wake of the footballer's three-in-a-bed shame.
Andy, 33, was said to have passed out next to two blonde bombshells while on his stag do in Dubai.
But Billi, 34, still walked down the aisle at Hampshire's luxurious Four Seasons Hotel on Sunday.
During the ceremony the registrar asked the couple's guests if anyone knew of any reason why the pair shouldn't tie the knot.
The congregation reportedly burst out laughing following after the embarrassing question - with Billi and Andy joining in.
A guest said: “They were emotional when they saw each other, but the atmosphere totally changed when the registrar asked if anyone present knew why they should not be married.
“Everyone started laughing really loud and Billi and Andy joined in.
"It broke the ice in what’s been a hard build-up to the wedding for Billi, reports The Sun.
A hard build-up is perhaps an understatement considering the Only Way is Essex star is said to have fled to her parent's house after the damning pics emerged.
The footballer is said to have passed out next to bar manager Taylor Jane Wilkey after a day boozing under the Dubai sun.
The 27-year-old was also seen parading around in Andy's monogramed dressing gown - but insists he was too drunk to score.
Referring to Billi, she said: "She needs to know nothing sexual happened between me and Andy, I swear.
"He was a gentleman, he just had so much to drink and passed out on the bed," Taylor told The Sun.
Despite the drama, the reality TV star is now officially Mrs Carroll and looked stunning on her big day.
Sporting a gorgeous ivory dress with ruffled flared sleeves, the mum-of-three wore her blonde hair in loose curls.
Andy also looked dapper rocking a sharp, black suit.
The father-of-five broke the news of the couple's nuptials with a photo on Instagram, where he wrote: "05-06-2022 @billimucklow."
Standing in front of a gorgeous flower display, the pair embrace after a week they both are probably keen to forget.
The couple share three children, Arlo, six, Wolf, four and Marvel, one.
Andy also has two children from a previous relationship - Emily Rose, 12, and Lucas, 11.
