Bill O’Brien reportedly making presence felt early with coaching style

New England Patriots offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Bill O’Brien is already making his presence felt in Foxboro, and a new report from NFL insider Mike Giardi details exactly how.

O’Brien was hired in January with the goal of getting the New England offense back on track. Production and explosive playmaking was hard to come by for the Patriots last season. Now, they have a new arsenal of weapons offensively, headlined by the acquisitions of wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and tight end Mike Gesicki. Running back James Robinson was also a notable addition to the room.

O’Brien reportedly has the team thinking with a new mindset in 2023. The bad plays that were evident during games will not be tolerated under O’Brien, as Giardi noted.

It will be intriguing to see how that plays out on the field. Nevertheless, it is reassuring for Patriots fans to know that the offense will be held accountable after the debacle from last year.
