Bill Cosby faces seventh sexual assault lawsuit as former Playboy model brings case against him

Bill Cosby is facing another lawsuit for an alleged sexual assault by a former Playboy model.

Victoria Valentino, a former Playboy model, claims that Cosby took advantage of her in 1969.

She says Cosby offered to pay for a spa treatment for her and a friend after noticing her crying at a restaurant.

Ms Valentino alleges that Cosby put pills next to their drinks, claiming they would make them feel better.

She and her friend took the pills and soon felt drowsy.

According to Ms Valentino, Cosby then drove them to his office instead of taking them home, where she claims a sexual assault occurred.

In the lawsuit, seen by TMZ, Ms Valentino states that she was drugged and therefore unable to consent to the sexual acts that followed.

She seeks compensation for the emotional distress and loss of earnings she has experienced.

Cosby's representative, Andrew Wyatt, questions Ms Valentino's credibility and accuses her of changing her story multiple times.

He criticized the statute of limitations and suggests that the accusations are part of a larger pattern targeting successful black men in America.

“It’s not about money, it’s about accountability,” Ms Valentino, 80, told The Washington Post. “Rape steals something from you that cannot be repaired or restored.”

In a statement to TMZ, he said: "Media needs to vet Victoria Valentino cautiously and carefully -- because she has changed her alleged accounts of sexual abuse at the hands of Mr Cosby over 10 to 15 times.

"It's unfortunate that the statute of limitations were put in The Constitution to protect victims and those who are accused -- and it seems that our political figures are caving to being click baiters and accumulating likes as opposed to vetting these allegations made by alleged accusers and moving swiftly to create these look back windows -- which are only being created because they incorporate Bill Cosby's name.

"This is bigger than Bill Cosby. This is a target against every black successful man in America like Lebron James, Will Smith and President Obama."

Bill Cosby, a once-beloved American comedian and actor, has a deeply troubling history with sexual assault allegations.

The first public accusation against Cosby emerged in 2005, and since then numerous women have come forward with accounts claiming that Cosby had drugged and sexually assaulted them over a span of several decades.

The allegations against him included incidents that occurred as far back as the 1960s.

In 2018, he was convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand and sentenced to three to ten years in prison.
