New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is vehemently denying reports that he has his next coaching destination picked out. He pushed back on the idea, during an appearance on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show” on Monday morning.
There have been numerous reports linking Belichick to several different teams throughout the NFL for 2024.
The Patriots are coming off a 10-7 loss to the New York Giants, dropping their record to 2-9 on the season. Currently, they are projected to pick third overall in the 2024 NFL draft.
It’s been quite a bumpy road for Belichick in the post-Tom Brady era. New England is on the verge of missing the playoffs for a third time in four seasons. This is also their third losing season in the last four years.
Still, despite all of the struggles, Belichick called reports of him lining up a new gig “ridiculous.”
“Yeah, that’s ridiculous, ” Belichick said.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Belichick this offseason. For now, the coach is not feeding into speculation.
