New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is reportedly sitting at the top of the mountain when it comes to coaching salaries in the United States, and there isn’t even anyone within shouting distance.
It’s a salary fit for a king when it comes to the greatest coach in NFL history.
Sportico listed the top-10 highest-paid coaches in the country, and Belichick towered above the rest with an estimated annual salary of $20 million per year. The closest coach to competing with that salary is Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll with a $15 million annual salary.
Here’s the full top-10 list.

Belichick has taken the Patriots to nine Super Bowls and won six overall with the franchise. Granted, the team has fallen on tough times in recent years with the exit of legendary quarterback Tom Brady, but the man with the sleeveless hoodie still remains one of the best coaches in football.
And he obviously has the bank account to prove it.
