Bill Belichick claims nothing has changed regarding job status

The New England Patriots lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday by a 27-17 score.

They dropped to 3-11 on the season with the defeat, and as expected, another loss meant another day of questions about coach Bill Belichick’s job security. Of course, the coach didn’t have much to say on the matter as rumors continue to swirl.

Belichick took a similar approach before the game against Kansas City. His team continues to struggle, and the only thing he can control is how they prepare for the Denver Broncos this week in a Christmas Eve showdown.

“Nothing’s changed. We’ve got Denver this week, and we’ll do all we can to get the team ready for Denver,” said Belichick, when appearing on “The Greg Hill Show.”

The Broncos beat the Patriots the last time the two teams played in 2020. The Patriots will try to give their fans some holiday cheer in the form of exacting revenge on their Week 16 opponent.
