A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a crash on a busy road.
Police were called to Rathbone Road in Wavertree at around 11.30am on Thursday December 8 following reports of a crash. A black Honda motorbike had reportedly collided with a car.
Paramedics and Merseyside Police both attended the scene. The driver of the motorbike was taken to hospital with injuries to his neck, back and knees.

Rathbone Road was closed while emergency services dealt with the scene, and buses rerouted for the afternoon of December 8.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "At around 11.30am officers were called to report of a collision on Rathbone Road involving a black Honda Motorbike and a car.
"The driver of the motorbike was taken to hospital with injuries to his neck, back and knees. No further information has been disclosed."
