Bihar: One killed, other injured in two firing incidents in Siwan; Police blamed for negligence

Siwan: Two separate murders in the Mairwa police station area of ​​the district on Sunday night created a stir. The miscreants shot and killed a young man after kidnapping him, while in the second incident, a murderous attack was made on the hotel operator. 

The police arrived late on receiving information about the first murder, which increased the anger of the local people and they chased and beat the policemen.

According to the Dynamite News correspondent, in the first incident, Vishal Kumar Yadav, a resident of Titara, was shot and killed. According to the information, Vishal was kidnapped from his house in Thepaha market at around 10 pm on Sunday night.

The family claims that they had informed the police, but the police did not reach on time without taking any action. After this, the miscreants shot Vishal in the head and killed him and dumped the body behind the school. 

When the family members found the body and rushed to the hospital, the mob attacked the police.

In another incident, miscreants opened indiscriminate fire on Dilip Singh, a hotel operator, near Maghi village under Maharajganj police station. Dilip, who was returning home from his hotel, was riding a bike. The criminals attacked him near the house. Dilip jumped off the bike and tried to run away to save his life, due to which he got seriously injured. It is being told that he was shot in the hand. Dilip has been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment.

Locals have accused the police of negligence and said that if the police had reached on time, Vishal's life could have been saved. After the incident, angry local residents protested against the police and blocked the road.

This is not the first time Dilip Singh has been targeted; he was reported to have been attacked in 2013 as well.
