The leaves are coming off the trees, the fires are starting to be lit and the grand stretch in the evening is starting to disappear.
These are the usual signs that we're heading into autumn and winter, and what that means for millions of people across the UK and Ireland is the return of some top-tier good TV shows.
Broadcasters will usually stack the second half of he year with some of their bigger offerings in order to try and capitalise on colder weather, people trying to save money by not going out and the prospect of curling up and bingeing a particular show.
We're only just entering September and we're already seeing some major returns across both normal TV and the streaming services - with House of the Dragon, Better Call Saul and A League of Their Own capturing our attention in August.
But there's better news for TV lovers - as September is absolutely stacked with content coming your way.
The Late Late Show - September 2, RTE
You know that the year is coming to a close when the days start getting shorter, the temperature drops a bit and Ryan Tubridy returns to our screens.
The chat show is always high in the end-of-year ratings and RTÉ will be hoping it's no different this year as the Late Late Show returns for a 60th consecutive year.
Expect plenty of celebrations throughout the autumn and winter.
The first line-up includes Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, journalist Aoife Moore, Michael Flatley and recently-retired Pat Spillane.
The Great British Bake Off - September 13, Channel 4
One of the crown jewels of Channel 4's calendar, everyone's favourite baking competition is back very, very soon.
Once again, Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding will guide 16 amateur bakers through the tough tests set for them by Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
The drama is sure to be upped again, with one baker to be crowned champion while the rest fail to stand the heat - and get out of the kitchen.
If nothing else, it's an excuse to enjoy some lovely cakes and muffins and scones and everything else while you're sat on the sofa watching it.
Ultimate Hell Week: The Professionals - September 8, RTÉ
What better way to work off all those cakes?
David Gillick, Fiona O'Carroll and Setanta O'hAilpin are just some of the names who are set to go through hell - and back - for our entertainment.
The intense series sees recruits go through gruelling Special Forces training.
Over six days, the celebrity recruits will be required to pass numerous rigorous physical and mental tests. Surviving on two to three hours of sleep a night they will have to overcome cold-water events, height tests and claustrophobic challenges as well as various trials of strength, stamina and determination - all for their chosen charities.
Cobra Kai, Season 5 - September 9 - Netflix
Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament at the end of season four, season five of Cobra Kai finds Terry Silver widening the empire and trying to make his "No Mercy" style of karate the only game in town.
Meanwhile, Johnny and Robby are hitting the road again, heading to Mexico, searching for Miguel as he looks for his own father.
It hits Netflix next week.
Thai Cave Rescue - September 22 - Netflix
The story that captivated the globe is headed to Netflix in the limited series Thai Cave Rescue, premiering Sept. 22.
A Thai youth soccer team and their assistant coach are trapped within Tham Luang Cave, prompting a global rescue effort.
The show is inspired by the real-life Tham Luang incident back in 2018.
Twelve members of the team, aged 11 to 16, and their 25-year-old assistant coach entered the cave on 23 June after a football practice session, being pulled out safely on July 10.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, S1 – Amazon Prime - September 2
Arguably the most anticipated release of the year, Amazon Prime's offering brings to screens for the very first time the heroic legends of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth's history.
This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness.
The Kardashians - S2 - Disney+ - September 22
While you're not able to keep up with them anymore, the most famous family in reality TV are coming back to Disney+ for a second season towards the end of the month.
The trailer, which Kim shared earlier this week, shows sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner going through a tough time.
We also know that Pete Davidson will be making a cameo and that the upcoming chapter will also focus on Kourtney Kardashian's wedding to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
The Grand Tour: A Scandi Flick - September 16
In the first episode of season five and their first post-pandemic road trip, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May head for the icy wastes of the Scandinavian Arctic Circle.
At the wheel of their three favourite rally cars the boys embark on a catastrophe-filled adventure that takes in Cold War submarine bases – frozen lake racetracks, crashes and ski resort chaos as they drag their homemade houses from the coast of Norway to the Russian Border.
