There's a new must-visit place for anyone with a sweet tooth with the opening of a new dessert shop in Gateshead that sells pretty much anything you could ever want!
One look at Sugar Rush's Facebook and Instagram pages will have drooling as they tease some of the dishes they've got on their menu which range from Cookie Dough Pie to Kinder Bueno Cheesecake, pancakes to donuts and waffle pops to a massive range of slushies and milkshakes.
Sugar Rush opened in Meresyde in Leam Lane last week and has already proved massively popular with local families who have been queuing up to get a slice of the action.
The Sugar Rush menu is huge and also features things like slices (more like huge slabs!) of Red Velvet, Bubblegum and Rainbow Cake, Banoffee Tarts, Chocolate Fudge Cake and Carrot Cake.
The feedback from customers so far has been massively positive, with a whole host of glowing reviews.
Someone posted "OMG this place is heaven. Cakes looks divine, milkshakes gorgeous. Well done Sugar Rush!" Another happy customer wrote "Amazing cakes and shakes, highly recommend.
"Great prices, was shocked at how cheap it was. Staff are super friendly and will fulfill even the weirdest of milkshake requests lol."

And at the end of their first week of business, Sugar Rush wrote on Facebook "What an absolutely mind blowing massive sell out first week!!
"Thanku again to each and every one of u whom have taken the time to visit us some every day... our fridges and cupboards are literally bare!!
