Mumbai: The ruckus in the politics of Maharashtra is now moving towards a halt. Before the formation of the new government, former CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis made a big announcement. 

Eknath Shinde will be the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He will take oath as Chief Minister today at 7:30pm. 

Earlier there was speculation that Devendra Fadnavis would take oath as CM for the third time.
