Big Names In Music Industry ‘Not Sleeping Well’ Over Fears They’ll Be Exposed In Sean Combs Case

CONTENT WARNING: This article discusses sexual assault.

With more and more disturbing details coming out about Sean Combs a.k.a. P Diddy in the lead-up to his trial, certain members of the music industry are said to be panicking about what might come out next.

Entertainment lawyer Bryan Freedman told Page Six that “many people at the highest level, including artists, executives, managers and others are not sleeping well right now”.

“Those who have knowingly allowed and/or encouraged the behaviour while remaining silent should be concerned.

“I represent a number of people who have been concerned about being wrongfully mentioned or rumoured to be a part of this just by an association unrelated to any wrongdoing … they don’t want to part of some rumour mill because they have some tangential connection to Combs.”

Universal Music Group (UMG) CEO Sir Lucian Grainge recently hit back at “offensively false” claims the company “aided and abetted” Combs that were made in a lawsuit back in May.

“People who worked with Diddy very closely, I’m sure they’re terrified and God knows what they were around,” a music industry insider told Page Six.

It comes after Houston attorney Tony Buzbee said during a press conference that he expects that “in this process many powerful people will be exposed”. He addressed said people directly, saying: “You can’t hide skeletons in the closet forever.”

“We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates,” Buzbee said.

“The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs, and there’s a lot of names. It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure – damn sure – that we’re right before we do that,” he continued, adding, “The names will shock you.”

The press conference was in response to a further 120 people who have come forward with sexual abuse allegations against Sean Combs, 25 of whom were minors at the time of the alleged misconduct.
