The trade of wide receiver Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets impacts the Arizona Cardinals and their upcoming schedule.
Adams, who had played in three games this season and has 18 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown, was traded to the Jets, reuniting him with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, his former Green Bay Packers teammate. According to multiple reports, Adams was sent to the Jets for a 2025 third-round draft pick that can become a second-round pick.
In five of the last six seasons, Adams has caught more than 100 passes and gained more than 1,100 receiving yards.
How does this impact the Cardinals?
They will host the Jets in Week 10, meaning they will have to face the combo of Rodgers and Adams defensively after they have had a few games to get into rhythm.
It will be yet another challenge for Arizona coming up.
